.111 The Line Supervisor will usually be responsible for interviewing
eligible candidates and making the selection decision. Consequently,
it is important that the Line Supervisor have a thorough understanding
of the interview process and the policy considerations outlined in Section
1605.
.112 The Line Supervisor should ensure that all candidates receive
comparable interviews and equal consideration.
.113 The Line Supervisor should treat all candidates' records from
the Personnel Office confidentially. Only those individuals directly
involved in the hiring decision should have access to the candidates'
records.
